In an abstract and symbolic approach, this mapping emphasises the synaesthesia between images and music, as a tribute to the different musical masters who have succeeded one another in the history of the cathedral. The creation is also inspired by a key historical event that occurred in the 16th century: the incendiary storm that ravaged the cathedral and led to its reconstruction in the “flamboyant” Gothic style.
